Mother Teresa, born as Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu in 1910 in Skopje, Macedonia, wanted to become a Nun and joined the Sisters of Loreto, an Irish Community of Nuns and missions in India. Mother Teresa, came to India in 1931 and moved by the prevailing poverty in India, served the poor and downtrodden throughout her life.
